Duties
- Develop and implement dynamic, age-appropriate curricula.
- Plan engaging lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles and include activities for young children.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement techniques, ensuring a respectful and inclusive environment for all children.
- Support children’s social-emotional growth by encouraging communication skills, cooperation, and independence during daily activities.
- Collaborate with parents and caregivers through regular updates on progress, behavior management strategies, and developmental milestones.
- Maintain detailed records of student progress.
- Ensure safety standards are met by supervising children closely during daily routine while adhering to childcare regulations.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with children in school or daycare settings with classroom management expertise.
- Demonstrated ability to develop curriculum content that fosters literacy education, math skills, physical activity, and social-emotional learning.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with children, parents, colleagues, and community partners.
- Certification in early childhood education or related fields is highly desirable; ongoing professional development in childhood education is encouraged.
