Protecnium is an international consulting firm specializing in engineering and technical services (www.protecnium.com/en). We are currently looking for a Marine Surveyor (Land and Office) to join our team for a Marine Infrastructure Project in Los Angeles, California.

• Location: Los Angeles, California
• Project: Marine Infrastructure Project
• Estimated duration of the position: 1 year - In general, when the project ends, we try to place the employee in other projects to give him/her continuity.
• Summary: Office & Land Surveyor (Marine) to support field and office surveying tasks for a marine infrastructure project in Los Angeles. The role combines land and marine surveying, data processing, and coordination with design and construction teams.
• Responsibilities:
• Perform land and marine surveying using Total Station, GNSS, and leveling equipment.
• Support marine works (piles, quay structures, coastal works) with accurate control and verification.
• Process survey data and prepare reports, drawings, and documentation (Civil 3D, TBC, etc.).
• Maintain survey records, control points, and project geometry.
• Provide technical support to construction teams for setting out and quality control.
• Requirements:
• Degree in Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in land surveying; marine experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Total Station, GNSS, and survey software (Civil 3D, TBC, Leica/Trimble).
• Strong understanding of construction survey, geometry control, and documentation.
• English communication skills and ability to work on-site with multidisciplinary teams.
• Preferred Experience in marine or port projects. Knowledge of U.S. standards and safety procedures
• Working hours: Monday to Friday, 40 hours weekly (Possibility of overtime as needed).
