About Us
Infusion Specialists is a physician-operated outpatient infusion clinic in Idaho Falls. We're a small team, and patients know us by name. We'd like to keep it that way.
The Job
You're the first person our patients and referring offices talk to. Some of that is when a patient enters the office for an appointment. Some of that is scheduling and paperwork. Some of it is calmly explaining insurance, next steps, or a delay to a patient who is already stressed. Every one of those interactions tells people what kind of clinic we are.
Schedule
2 to 3 weekdays, 15 to 20 hours total, in office. We'll set the exact days with the right person.
What You'll Do
- Answer phones, greet patients, and manage the schedule
- Communicate with referring offices so patient care doesn't stall
- Communicate with medical vendors regarding patient care
- Follow up when something falls through the cracks, and loop in the team when needed
Who We're Looking For
- A clear communicator, on the phone and in writing. You can explain something complicated simply, without talking down to anyone.
- Someone we can count on. You show up when you are scheduled and finish what you start.
- Consistent. You do things the same careful way every time, even when it's busy.
- Professional under pressure. A frustrated caller doesn't knock you off your game.
- Polished and patient-facing. You're the first person patients see, so you dress professionally, follow our dress code, and keep the front desk looking as organized as you are.
-Organized and clean. You can prepare our infusion spaces accurately between each patient.
- Experience in a medical office, customer service, or front desk role
- Comfortable learning scheduling and EMR software
Nice to Have
Medical billing, insurance verification, or co-pay assistance experience
Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
