Role Description
The Pharmacist role is a full-time, on-site position located in Flowood, MS. The Pharmacist will be responsible for preparing and dispensing medications, providing education to patients and caregivers, maintaining compliance with regulatory standards, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal outcomes. Key tasks include compounding IV medications, conducting medication reviews, monitoring therapy outcomes, and participating in quality assurance protocols. The role also involves ensuring proper inventory management and compliance with all state and federal regulations.
Qualifications
- Expertise in pharmaceutical compounding, with an emphasis on IV medication preparation
- Strong knowledge of medication dosing, interactions, and therapy review
- Experience in providing patient education and collaborating with healthcare teams
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- Proficiency in inventory management and sterile compounding processes
- Licensed as a Pharmacist in good standing in the state of Mississippi
