Salary Range:
$85,000.00 To $100,000.00 Annually
The Executive Assistant provides administrative support by screening calls, making appointments and maintaining calendar, workload preparation and reporting, composing, typing and editing correspondence, attending meetings and preparing minutes, and independently following up on all pending business matters relating to the CEO and respective team. Accepts and performs daily and long term tasks and assignments. The scope of responsibilities varies from very specific to a wide range of related issues within a single and/or multiple cost centers.
Report to the CEO and Leadership Team as needed. This position will be provided high level direction and supervision by the CEO on an ongoing daily basis; however, there will be frequent occasions when the Executive Assistant must act independently using her/his best judgment and knowledge of available resources or personnel within the system. Perform most of the assigned duties with minimum supervision; work independently and prioritize own work assignments for majority of responsibilities.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years’ experience as an Executive Assistant to a management or leadership role
Skill in prioritizing assignments to complete work in a timely manner
Skill in evaluating data in order to draw conclusions and make sound recommendations
Skill in problem solving, engage in fact finding, and working as a member of a team
Skill in editing correspondence, reports, and summaries for correct grammar, spelling and punctuation
Skill in setting priorities that accurately reflect the importance of the project
Skill to speak clearly and distinctly to obtain and convey information with individuals at various organizational levels
Demonstrated interpersonal skills to work in a group environment, establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with all levels of staff and other department personnel
Knowledge of managed care operational infrastructure sufficient to troubleshoot and triage inquiries in an appropriate manner (preferred)
Working knowledge of MS Office software applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
Working knowledge of internet as a tool for researching and communication
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with staff, co-workers and public
Ability to use MS Office fluently including Word, Excel spreadsheets and Outlook for email and calendaring
Ability to balance/manage multiple ongoing tasks, assignments and prioritize workload
Ability to formulate logical and objective conclusions, recognizing alternatives and their implications
Ability to work independently and follow through on assignments with minimal direction
Ability to work with confidential and highly sensitive information with discretion
Ability to compose clear, concise, logical and grammatically correct correspondence, reports, memos and other forms of written correspondence
Ability to establish positive, effective working relationships with peers, administrators, and staff
Ability to coordinate numerous tasks with conflicting deadlines and prioritize appropriately and to exercise independent judgment in making decisions
Ability to compile and organize data to present in written reports or for visual presentations
Ability to collect and assimilate data and input from various sources
Ability to work accurately with detail
Ability to travel locally in personal vehicle.
Ability to collect information timely, to follow through and establish priorities
