About the Role
We are looking for a Configuration Developer with strong XML skills and FireLight experience to configure and maintain business rules for a SaaS platform supporting financial product applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Configure and maintain business rules in FireLight
- Develop and troubleshoot XML configurations
- Work with Role Codes, Review Queues, Needs Determination, and mappings
- Perform unit and integration testing
- Support deployments and production issues
- Troubleshoot tickets using Jira
- Collaborate with technical and business teams
- Use AI tools to improve configuration, testing, and troubleshooting
Required Skills
- 1–3 years of experience in a technical/configuration role
- Strong XML creation, editing, and troubleshooting skills
- FireLight experience preferred
- Understanding of SDLC and SaaS environments
- Experience with Jira and related technical tools
- Strong problem-solving and attention to detail
- Good communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Preferred
- Experience with financial services, insurance, annuities, or life insurance
- Exposure to Salesforce, Redtail, or other third-party integrations
- Experience using AI-enabled development/configuration tools
