Cloud Operations Administrator (Hybrid – Midtown NYC)

The Opportunity

A leading media technology firm is seeking a Cloud Operations Administrator to join our team in Midtown. This role is designed for a technical professional with a solid foundation in AWS who is ready to accelerate their career toward Cloud Engineering. You’ll be the bridge between day-to-day IT operations and the evolution of our cloud infrastructure.

Work Model: Hybrid (3 days/week in-office)

The Role

You will assist in managing our AWS ecosystem while gaining hands-on experience with automation and Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC).

• AWS Administration: Manage IAM users/roles, monitor EC2 instances (patching/provisioning), and maintain S3 bucket policies and lifecycles.
• DevOps and Automation: Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines and implement Terraform or CloudFormation templates.
• Infrastructure Health: Use CloudWatch to monitor resources, manage backups/disaster recovery, and ensure security compliance.
• Cross-Functional Support: Provide technical guidance to developers and resolve infrastructure, networking, and systems tickets.
  
  

What You Bring

• Experience: 3 years in cloud infrastructure support, specifically within production AWS environments.
• Core Skills: Deep familiarity with IAM, EC2, and S3.
• Technical Breadth: Basic system configuration for Linux/Windows and exposure to scripting (Python or Bash).
• Operational Excellence: Experience with ticketing systems and a proactive approach to documenting runbooks and processes.
• Pluses: AWS Certifications (SysOps/SAA) and experience with Microsoft Entra/SSO.
