About The Role

Infrastructure Engineering Inc. (IEI) Houston office is seeking a Project Manager - Transportation (P.E. License required) to join our Team, focusing on Roadway, Transportation, Tollway and leading the Design of Projects in the Houston Market. We are a leading engineering firm known for quality, responsiveness, and a proven track record of success as a Prime civil engineering firm. As a Project Manager - Transportation, y ou will ensure the successful completion of assigned projects within scope, timeline, and budget constraints while adhering to industry best practices in quality and safety. Essential Duties/Functions And Responsibilities

• Conduct value engineering reviews to achieve an optimal balance between cost and quality on a $5MM revenue project.
• Facilitate communication among various stakeholders, including TXDOT, Harris County Toll Road Authority, Houston Public Works and Fort Bend County.
• Draft, review, and validate change orders, managing risks and ensuring alignment among all involved parties.
• Host regular project progress meetings to provide clear status updates and proactively identify potential issues that could affect project deliverables.
• Implement and oversee asset life cycle management strategies to ensure long-term operational efficiency and compliance with industry standards.
• Manage the design phase, ensuring engineering consultants deliver per contractual agreements.
• Oversee the construction phase, tracking timelines, milestones, and budgets while preparing regular status reports for the client.
• Review and validate engineering designs to comply with established standards and regulations.

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering required; a m ust have an active Professional Engineer (PE) License for TX.
• Ideally 10 years of hands-on Project Management experience in Transportation, Drainage, Roadway and Infrastructure projects.
• Certification as a Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills substantiated by a track record of successful project delivery.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient in MicroStation, Bentley ProjectWise, MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, & Teams), Deltek and other programs required.
