Electrical Engineer

Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our team, working out of either our Baltimore or Norfolk office. Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement electrical systems for a variety of projects, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and efficient solutions.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site inspections, and technical evaluations.
• Prepare detailed electrical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
• Provide technical support during construction, including reviewing submittals and responding to RFIs.
• Ensure project deliverables are completed on time and within budget.
• Stay updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-15 years of professional experience in electrical engineering.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification or Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Proven experience working on a variety of projects; mission-critical project experience is a bonus.
• Proficiency in electrical design software and tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical codes, standards, and regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.

Day-to-Day

• Collaborate with team members to develop and refine project designs.
• Conduct site visits to assess project requirements and monitor progress.
• Prepare and review technical documentation, including drawings and reports.
• Participate in project meetings with clients, contractors, and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
• Balance multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
