INFRA TECH ENGINEERING is currently seeking Transportation Construction Inspectors (all levels) to join our construction inspection team for highway and bridge projects in NYSDOT Region 1.
We currently have needs in Albany, Essex, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Warren, Washington, Syracuse, and Binghamton County.
Role Description
We are seeking Construction Inspector (NICET II), Senior Inspector (NICET III), Chief Inspector (NICET IV), and Office Engineer (NICET III/IV) positions, in NYSDOT Regions 1, 3 and 9. Previous experience with construction inspection of NYSDOT heavy highway and bridge construction projects or similar is preferred. NICET certifications are preferred but not required. Certifications such as ACI Concrete Field Testing, ATSSA, NETTCP Soil & Aggregate, Bridge Painting NACE Level 1, SSPC C-1, and AMPP are desired.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in Site Inspections and Inspection processes
- Strong background in Quality Control and assurance standards
- Knowledge and expertise in Asphalt applications and materials
- Experience with Construction Management, including schedule and budget oversight
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Familiarity with NYSDOT Construction codes and regulations
- Proficiency in using construction documentation and reporting tools
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
- Professional certifications (e.g., NICET, ICC, or OSHA) are an advantage
- ACI Concrete Field Testing

- Bridge Painting NACE Level 1, SSPC C-1, or AMPP
- Experience with NYSDOT Site Manager software a plus
