Pharmacy Technician – Fulfillment
Location: Canal Winchester, OH
Job Type: Temporary, 6 months with potential Temp-to-Hire
Pay: $17.50/hour

Job Summary
We are seeking experienced Pharmacy Technicians to join a busy pharmacy fulfillment operation in Canal Winchester, OH. The Pharmacy Technician will support prescription processing, medication fulfillment, data entry, inventory workflow, quality control, and order preparation while following company policies and HIPAA guidelines.

- Tuesday–Saturday: 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM
Sunday & Monday off — 3 positions available
- Thursday & Friday: 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM
Saturday–Wednesday off — 5 positions available
- Monday–Friday: 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM
Saturday & Sunday off — 5 positions available
- Sunday–Wednesday: 3:30 PM – 1:30 AM
Thursday–Saturday off — 5 positions available
- Thursday–Monday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Tuesday & Wednesday off — 5 positions available
- Sunday–Thursday: 7:30 AM – 3:30 PM
Friday & Saturday off — 2 positions available
Responsibilities
- Process prescription orders and patient information accurately using pharmacy systems.
- Enter prescription and refill information while following HIPAA and company guidelines.
- Review and resolve data-entry exceptions and missing prescription information.
- Interpret common pharmacy abbreviations and SIG codes.
- Operate automated pharmacy fulfillment and medication-sorting equipment.
- Count and fill prescriptions, apply labels, package medications, and prepare orders for shipment.
- Perform quality-control checks throughout the fulfillment process.
- Review and resolve third-party insurance rejects according to plan requirements.
- Assist pharmacists and communicate issues to senior pharmacy staff when needed.
- Maintain pharmacy equipment, workstations, and a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety, quality, and operating procedures.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- At least 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience in a retail or fulfillment environment.
- Strong English reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Basic computer and internet skills.
- Keyboarding skills of at least 25 WPM.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced pharmacy fulfillment environment.
- Ability to push, pull, grasp, and lift as required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Willingness to work the assigned schedule and flexible shifts.
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
Preferred Qualifications
- PTCB or ExCPT certification preferred.
- Previous experience in pharmacy fulfillment, retail pharmacy, prescription processing, or medication distribution preferred.
License/Certification Requirement
Candidates must obtain and maintain an active Pharmacy Technician license or certification within the first 90 days, as required for the position.
