Assembler (1st & 2nd shift)

W2 Contract

Duration: 6 Months to Start with possible extension

Role Overview

1st Shift- Monday-Thursday 5:30 AM-3:30 PM

2nd Shift- M-Fri 3:30PM -1:30AM

Performs a wide variety of electronic or electro-mechanical assembly operations on assemblies or sub-assemblies. Determines and/or follows methods and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, hand soldering and cable harnessing on assembly units. Makes setups and adjustments holding tolerances to blueprint specifications. Interacts daily with peers and customers (typically internal) to exchange or present factual information. Works on assignments that are routine in nature, requiring limited judgment. Has little or no role in decision-making. Receives predetermined assignments subject to moderate level of control and review. Normally receives detailed instructions on all work. Works under close supervision. Legal authorization to work in the US is required.

Skills:

Typically requires no previous related experience. Acquires job skills and learns company polices and procedures to complete routine tasks.

Education:

Completed High School (Diploma or GED)
