🚗 We're Hiring: Mechanical Engineer | Warren, MI (Hybrid)
Infotree Global is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support a leading global automotive manufacturer on a long-term contract. If you have a background in product development, mechanical design, and automotive engineering, this is an excellent opportunity to contribute to next-generation vehicle programs.
📍 Location: Warren, MI (Hybrid – Onsite Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday)
🕒 Schedule: 1st Shift (9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
📄 Employment Type: W2 Contract
⏳ Duration: 12 Months
Key Responsibilities:
✔ Lead product development activities for automotive exterior hardware components.
✔ Coordinate with cross-functional engineering teams and suppliers to drive product improvements.
✔ Support engineering design updates focused on quality, cost optimization, and product performance.
✔ Manage engineering change documentation and monitor project milestones.
✔ Analyze warranty trends and implement corrective actions.
✔ Ensure timely execution of engineering deliverables throughout the product lifecycle.
Required Qualifications:
✅ Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering discipline (Required)
✅ 5 years of mechanical/product development engineering experience
✅ Experience with product design and engineering release processes
✅ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
✅ Familiarity with DFMEA, GD&T, DFSS, and engineering change management practices
Preferred Experience:
⭐ Automotive exterior hardware, closures, latches, handles, or wiper systems
⭐ Experience working with OEM product development processes (GM experience is a plus)
