Job Description:
The Service Technician will support day-to-day service activities related to medical infusion pump devices. This role involves performing repair, refurbishment, rework, and product investigation activities to ensure devices meet quality and safety standards. The technician will analyze returned products, identify issues, document findings, and support complaint investigations as needed. This position will also assist in training new team members and maintaining accurate documentation within required systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and complex repair, rework, and refurbishment of infusion pump medical devices.
- Troubleshoot and analyze customer-returned devices to identify root causes of failures.
- Support product complaint investigations by performing Level 0 and Level 1 analysis.
- Document repair, investigation results, and material usage accurately in the tracking system.
- Ensure compliance with Quality System Regulations, including cGMP requirements.
- Assist with studies, analysis of out-of-box failures, and product improvement initiatives.
- Identify and report process or product issues to Quality Assurance and management.
- Help train new employees in service processes and investigation procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Support special projects and onsite repair activities as needed.
Qualifications:
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze technical problems.
- Prior experience in device repair or service preferred.
- Knowledge of quality systems and documentation processes is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
