Environmental Consultant

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Environmental Consultant to support environmental review efforts for new nuclear development projects. This role provides independent expertise in NEPA/SEPA processes, environmental compliance, and regulatory strategy. The consultant will conduct research, perform field or site visits as needed, collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, and develop documentation, presentations, and proposals that meet client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support NEPA/SEPA environmental review activities and provide expert guidance.
• Conduct research, field assessments, and site visits to identify environmental issues.
• Collaborate with scientists, engineers, and regulatory specialists to address environmental and process challenges.
• Prepare project documentation, environmental reports, and client presentations.
• Advise clients on environmental policies, emerging regulations, and compliance strategies.
• Monitor project effectiveness and ensure adherence to environmental regulations.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Chemistry, Biological Science, or a related technical field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in an environmental-related field.
