Role: Data Center Associate
Location: Bend, OR
Duration: 12 Months
Client is seeking an experienced Contractor to assist our systems integration team. To reduce the threat of hardware assets being compromised: the Systems Integration Facility is responsible for sanitizing and burn-in testing computer equipment before distributing it to our Data Centers and POPs. The ideal candidate should have experience working in a data center or integration facility operation, understand hardware concepts and be motivated to learn in our fast-paced environment. This role will focus on our incoming quality control and full rack integration efforts

- o:Assemble equipment using manufacturing documentation and engineering specification
- s.Utilize appropriate tools to install, configure and test equipment and component
- s.Perform hardware inspection according to the company’s security inspection procedures
- ..Install hardware into test stands and integrate it into production server cabinet
- s.Data entry and updating ticketing syst
- emAdvise material handlers to pick up and deliver equipment for testing and integration as neede
- d.Escalate issues to the integration manager, as neede
