What are the responsibilities and job description for the Windows Administrator position at Infosys?
Infosys is seeking a Windows Administrator working with Infrastructure Management. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Engineers and Subject Matter Experts.
Required Qualifications:
- Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Malta, NY, or Burlington, VT, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
- Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
- In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to "U.S. persons" as defined by 22 C.F.R. § U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees.
- At least 4 years of Information Technology experience
- Experienced with Windows Server Administration (Level 2/3 support) and exposure to Content management System /Online Stores/Payment.
- Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency providing L2/L3 support of Windows Server Administration including:
- Patching and Upgrades
- Build new instances environment and projects along with experience in managing High Availability clustered systems.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experienced with ITIL and maintenance of projects is good to have.
- Possess knowledge of Backup and Recovery is an added advantage.
- Data Center experience is a perk.
- Flexible work schedule and availability to work during US core business hours
- Excellent Communications and client interaction skills along with exceptional written and verbal skills as well as technical documentation
- Extraordinary Planning, Project Management, Coordination, and Analytical skills
- Hands-on experience in working in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources
- Exceptional Organizational Skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently
- Readiness to demonstrate a proactive attitude
- Solid attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
- Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
- In Malta, NY: $66,140 to $85,249
- In Burlington, VT: $71,693 to $93,201
