Windows Administrator

Infosys is seeking a Windows Administrator working with Infrastructure Management. This role requires close partnership and collaboration with other Engineers and Subject Matter Experts.

Required Qualifications

• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Malta, NY, or Burlington, VT, or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education
• In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to “U.S. persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R.
• 120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees.
• At least 7 years of Information Technology experience
• Experienced with Windows Server Administration (Level 2/3 support) and exposure to Content management System /Online Stores/Payment.
• Interface with key stakeholders and apply technical proficiency providing L2/L3 support of Windows Server Administration including:
• Patching and Upgrades
• Build new instances environment and projects along with experience in managing High Availability clustered systems.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experienced with ITIL and maintenance of projects is good to have.
• Possess knowledge of Backup and Recovery is an added advantage.
• Data Center experience is a perk.
• Flexible work schedule and availability to work during US core business hours
• Excellent Communications and client interaction skills along with exceptional written and verbal skills as well as technical documentation
• Extraordinary Planning, Project Management, Coordination, and Analytical skills
• Hands-on experience in working in Global Delivery Model with onsite/offshore resources
• Exceptional Organizational Skills
• Ability to manage and prioritize tasks efficiently
• Readiness to demonstrate a proactive attitude
• Solid attention to detail and excellent written and verbal communication skills are required
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
  
  

Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:

• In Malta, NY: $72,947 to $115,629
• In Burlington, VT: $96,893 to $125,961

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
