Test Automation Lead

Job Description

Infosys is seeking an Ecommerce Automation Test Lead.

As an Automation Test Lead, you will act as a validation and quality assurance expert and review the functionality of existing systems. You need to conduct requirement analysis, define test strategy & design and lead execution to guarantee superior outcomes. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Candidates authorized to work for any employer in the United States without employer-based visa sponsorship are welcome to apply. Infosys is unable to provide immigration sponsorship for this role at this time
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Edison, New Jersey or be willing to relocate to the area.
• At least 4 years of software testing experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in Ecommerce and automation testing.
• Strong Retail & Ecommerce experience in functional and non-functional requirements.
• Proven ability to design, build and develop automation frameworks with reusable components from scratch
• Ability to develop Automation for Web and Legacy applications.
• CI/CD QA automation - Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery for automation workflows.
• Strong understanding of testing processes and lifecycle.
• Experience in creating test strategies and test plans.
• Expertise in identifying automation scope and driving automation development.
• Retail POS Store experience is a plus.
• API testing experience.
• Minimum 4 years of programming experience with proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript (mandatory), Java, and Python.
• Experience with offshore/nearshore/onshore collaboration models.
• Agile methodology experience preferred.
• Prior experience supporting and working directly with development teams.

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
