Senior Technology Architect - Azure Databricks

Infosys is seeking Senior Technical Databricks Architect to lead the modernization of legacy Informatica ETL workflows into a scalable, cloud-native Databricks framework. The role focuses on data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and production enablement — delivering enterprise-grade data pipelines for analytics and AI initiatives. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain data processing systems & solutions using Azure, Python and SQL. You'll collaborate with Product Owners, Data engineers, Analysts, and other stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions in an entrepreneurial culture where teamwork is encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is valued.

Required Qualifications

• Candidates must be located within commuting distance of San Diego, CA or must be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel within the US.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.

• At least 11 years of Information Technology experience
• Hands on experience in data architecture, database development, and data warehousing.
• Expertise in SQL development, tuning, and database performance optimization.
  
  

Preferred Skills

• Secondary: Fivetran, API Integration, ETL Tools
• Strong understanding of Informatica-to-Databricks migration, data modeling, and cloud-based data engineering.
• Hands-on experience in pipeline orchestration, CI/CD, and performance tuning.
