Lead SAP RTR Consultant

Infosys is seeking a Lead SAP RTR Consultant

As a Lead Consultant, you will be a key player in engaging with business/functional team in providing best fit technical solutions while conforming to client’s and Infosys development standards. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape.

Basic Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 7 years of experience with Information Technology.
• This position may require travel to Project / client locations.
• This role may Involve elevated access to Impact Level 4 (IL4) data and/or security requirements for handling controlled unclassified information (CUI) and sensitive data as defined by US Department of Defense (DoD). Hence the eligible candidates must be US citizens or Permanent Residents only. In order to comply with legal requirements, this role is limited to “U.S. persons” as defined by 22 C.F.R.
• 120.15. U.S. persons include U.S. citizens, U.S. Lawful Permanent Residents, and certain refugees and asylees.
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 7 years of experience with leading and executing R2R activities, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis.
• Data carveout / migration experience.
• Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and relevant regulatory requirements.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the R2R function.
• Perform financial data analysis and provide insights to support decision-making processes.
• Supervise and mentor team members within the R2R department.
• Proficient SAP ECC Finance knowledge and thorough with SAP Finance Customizations, Master Data, Pricing, RTR Process including master data (G/L Account, Assets, Cost Center, profit center, business partner, pricing), configuring and customizing the processes of Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payables, General Ledger Accounting, Banking, Taxation, Asset Accounting, Controlling and Management Accounting, Credit Management, Dispute Management, Cash Management, Treasury & Risk Management. SAP ALE/EDI (IDOC expertise, BTP integration with payment apps, output determination and interfaces.
• Technical Expertise: Basic level ABAP debugging skills.
• Exposed to B2B and B2C business processes.
• Integration with other SAP modules such as SAP ECC -Purchasing & Sales and logistics for better understanding of business scenarios.
• Scheduling of Jobs, Failure Jobs Analysis
• Experience in leading business blueprint workshops and providing solutions.
• Experience in Rollout projects
• Should have experience in preparing functional specifications, providing conceptual and detailed designs to meet business needs, performing necessary SAP configurations, writing detail specifications for development of custom programs, testing, co-ordination of transports to production and post go-live support.
• Should have experience with all kinds of testing in SAP life cycle.
• Should have worked on Multiple Systems in SAP Landscape
• Should have handled a team size of 6-8 consultants.
• Knowledge on DMEE, Banking interfaces.
• Knowledge and experience on Cloud migration projects is desirable.
  
  

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.
