Java Backend Developer

Infosys is seeking a Java Backend Developer- In this role, you will be a technology professional adding value to a gamut of Software Development lifecycle stages. You will create detailed design artifacts like program specifications, test plans; and independently develop and review code and contribute to the go-live plan. Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• At least 4 years of Information Technology experience.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Iselin, NJ/Charlotte, NCor be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel to project locations.

• Experience working with NoSQL Database such as MongoDB and RDBMS as well with databases such as SQL Server, Oracle or MySQL
• Experience of microservices development, domain driven design and API’s design
• Experience with Cloud technologies, enterprise pipelines based on Gradle, Maven and CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, Harness, Github, etc.
• Expertise with Java Framework and Libraries. Has experience with various Java frameworks and libraries such as Spring, Hibernate, Java EE and others. Has experience building robust applications using these frameworks.

• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and partner with product, operations, and architecture teams
• Ensure operational excellence through monitoring, quality engineering, and automated workflows.
• Be responsible for participating in the creation and implementation of a technology framework and providing strong technical expertise to application development teams and senior technology management.
• Collaborate and consult with key architects, SMEs, senior technology and other technology partners to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
• Mentor junior engineers and guide teams on delivery, estimations, grooming, and velocity management.
• At least 5 years of industry experience in software design and development.
• At least 4 years of Core Java experience with Java open-source stack & frameworks, Spring, Spring boot
• Experience in financial services industry
• Experience with integration and building API’s in REST using, Camel, Fuse etc.
• Experience in working utilizing domain driven design, event driven architecture and SOLID principles
• Experience in messaging technologies: Kafka, IBM MQ, Active MQ
• Experience with Enterprise Security Infrastructure (Ping, OKTA etc.)
• At least 6 years of experience in Project life cycle activities on development and maintenance projects.
• Ability to work in team in diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment.
• Good Analytical skills.

Iselin, NJ : 80523 to 104680

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements
