Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
- 7 Years of experience in
- Application design, development and implementation on Progress/Open Edge applications
- PROGRESS 4GL
- PROGRESS AppServer
- PROGRESS Database design and performance
- Experience in UNIX
- Experience in leading technical projects and Development team
- Experience in working with geographically diverse team and coordinating with developers at diverse locations
- Ability to work quickly and meet deadlines in a dynamic fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong technical background and willing to learn new tools and technologies
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills
Desired Skills
- Domain knowledge in Insurance, specifically in Life insurance and Annuities
- Prior experience with customizing Policy Administration System (PAS)
- Customer facing
