Seeking an experienced QA Test Analyst with strong manual and automation testing experience to support mission-critical enterprise applications for Connecticut DSS. Professional proficiency in English and Spanish is required, with significant responsibility for validating Spanish-language application functionality and resident-facing content.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute manual, automated, functional, regression, integration, SIT, UAT, API, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate Spanish-language screens, workflows, notices, correspondence, messages, forms, and other resident-facing content against approved English requirements.
- Develop test scenarios, test cases, automation scripts, and regression suites.
- Perform API/web-service testing and backend data validation using SQL.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects using Jira.
- Maintain requirements traceability and provide test execution/status reporting.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, requirements reviews, defect triage, and release validation.
- Collaborate with developers, BAs, architects, project managers, vendors, and business stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of QA/testing experience with large enterprise applications.
- Strong hands-on manual and automation testing experience.
- Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish sufficient to independently validate Spanish-language functionality and content.
- Experience across the SDLC and Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong understanding of QA methodologies, test planning, defect management, and RTM.
- Experience with Jira and stakeholder-facing communication.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
