Job Title: Public Finance Associate

Pay Rate: $225,000 to $260,000/Year

Location: Chicago, IL

We are looking for a Public Finance Associate

Our client, a leading national law firm, is seeking a Public Finance Associate to join their team. The ideal candidate will bring 1 to 3 years (ONLY) of general finance or transactional experience gained at a bank, large law firm, or mid-sized firm.

• Draft and review financing documents, conduct legal research, and prepare memoranda.
• Support transactional matters with a focus on public finance, including municipal derivatives and bond issues.
• Communicate directly with clients and contribute to managing fast-paced transactions.

Qualifications:

• J.D. and admission to the Bar in good standing.
• Strong academic credentials and superior writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines while delivering exceptional client service.
• Professional presence, adaptability, and openness to feedback in a collaborative environment.
