Mechanical Assistant

Job Title: Industrial Parts Washer / Mechanical Assistant
Pay Rate: $18 to $20/hr.
Duration: 8 Months
Location: Alpharetta, GA

Shift: 2nd Shift: 5:30 PM – 4:00 AM (4x10 Shift, 10-hour workdays)
Training Hours: 6:30 AM – 5:00 PM (1 week of classroom training, 2-3 months on 1st shift training)

Job Duties:

• Disassemble mechanical components (e.g., gears, housings, engine parts).
• Clean and degrease parts using industrial washing equipment and manual tools.
• Inspect parts for wear or damage during the cleaning process.
• Assist technicians in the repair and reassembly of components.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with tools.
• Experience in industrial cleaning or mechanical repair is a plus.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail.
• Willingness to learn and follow safety procedures.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Training provided on industrial washing systems and mechanical processes.
• Power washer experience
• Operating in outdoor environments, adapting to changing weather conditions
• Conducting work in natural settings, exposed to seasonal climates.
• Working in the field, enduring the elements

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
