Pay: $60–$65/hour on W-2
Overview
Join our healthcare team as a Surgical Technologist, an essential member of the operating room responsible for supporting safe, efficient, and successful surgical procedures. In this role, you will prepare the operating room, organize and manage surgical instruments, assist the surgical team during procedures, and maintain strict sterile and infection-control standards. The ideal candidate will bring strong sports medicine experience, particularly with ACL and arthroscopic surgeries, along with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and surgical equipment for procedures
- Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures
- Maintain sterile technique throughout surgeries
- Handle surgical instruments and supplies appropriately
- Support ACL, arthroscopic, total joint, and plastics procedures
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during cases
- Perform surgical counts and maintain accurate documentation
- Follow infection control and patient safety protocols
- Clean, organize, and restock the OR after procedures
Requirements
- Current Surgical Technologist certification required
- BLS certification required
- Strong sports medicine experience required
- Experience with ACL and arthroscopic surgeries required
- Experience with total joint and plastics cases preferred
Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
