Position Summary
Seeking an experienced Trauma Registrar to support trauma registry operations in a collaborative and performance-focused environment. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of trauma experience, 5 years of ICD-10 coding experience, and a current AIS-15 Coding Certificate. Candidates must also have experience with NTDB and be current with American College of Surgeons criteria for Trauma Registrars.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and timely trauma registry data.
- Perform trauma case identification, abstraction, and coding.
- Apply ICD-10 coding standards accurately.
- Utilize AIS-15 coding methodology.
- Ensure compliance with American College of Surgeons trauma criteria.
- Support trauma registry reporting and data quality.
- Review records for completeness and accuracy.
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams.
- Maintain accountability for assigned registry responsibilities.
- Utilize EPIC for clinical data and documentation.
