Job Title: Quality Engineer I (Receiving Inspection)
Pay Rate: $38.78/Hr.
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Draper, UT (Onsite)
Shift - 8 AM to 5 PM (Monday to Friday)
Our Client is a Global medical device Manufacturer.
We are looking for a Quality Engineer I (Receiving Inspection) to support our Receiving Inspection team. This role will primarily involve reviewing and correcting manufacturing routers (routing documents) in the JDE system, as well as redlining and correcting product drawings. A strong technical background in quality engineering and experience with incoming inspection processes are essential.
- Manage and update routers in the JDE system for the Receiving Inspection department
- Reviewing and fixing routers in the JDE system. Redline/correct drawings.
- Collaborate with inspection, engineering, and manufacturing teams to ensure accuracy and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements
- Identify and correct data discrepancies in product documentation and routing
Must-Have Skills:
- QA engineering
- Receiving Inspection
- Product drawings
Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
- 1-2 years of experience required.
- Hands-on experience in Receiving or Incoming Inspection
- Proficiency with product drawings and understanding of drawing standards
- Familiarity with JDE (JD Edwards) and Windchill or similar PLM systems
- Excellent attention to detail and technical problem-solving skills
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience working in a manufacturing or production environment
- Understanding of quality systems and documentation practices
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
