Registered Nurse – Primary Care (Phone Triage)
Location: Oswego Health – Primary Care Office (West), Oswego, NY
Contract: 8 weeks
Start Date: ASAP
Hours: 40 hours/week | Shift: 8-hour Days
Pay: $48-$53/hr
Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to support the Primary Care Office in a phone triage role. The RN will primarily manage triage calls and may occasionally assist with rooming patients or administering injections.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and respond to patient phone calls using established triage protocols
- Assess patient symptoms and determine appropriate care recommendations
- Schedule appointments and route calls to providers as needed
- Document all patient interactions accurately in Meditech
- Provide patient education and follow-up instructions
- Assist with rooming patients when needed
- Administer injections or vaccinations occasional
Requirements:
- RN License
- BLS required
- 2 years RN experience
Pay: $48.00 - $53.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
