Shift: Day – 5x8-Hour (10:30 AM – 7:00 PM)

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Phlebotomist to join our team for a 13-week travel assignment in Greenville, SC. This role requires a highly skilled professional with Trauma Level I experience and strong proficiency in EPIC.
Responsibilities
- Perform venipuncture, specimen collection, and specimen processing according to established protocols.
- Ensure accurate patient identification, labeling, and handling of all specimens.
- Provide compassionate and efficient patient service, including explaining procedures and addressing patient concerns.
- Maintain equipment, supplies, and a clean, safe work environment.
- Document all procedures and results in EPIC with accuracy and timeliness.
- Collaborate with clinical staff to support optimal patient outcomes.
- Float to other qualified Prisma Health units/campuses as required, following the Prisma Health Floating Policy for Contracted Staff.
Requirements
- Trauma Level I experience required.
- Recent travel experience required.
- Minimum 1 year of EPIC experience.
- Current BLS certification required.
- One of the following phlebotomy certifications is required: NPS, ASCP, AMT, ASPT, NHA, ACA, NCCT, NPCE, NPA, NAPT, NHCO
- Strong communication, patient-care, and organizational skills.
- Ability to adapt to different units and maintain professionalism when floating per facility needs.
Pay: $18.00 - $23.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
