Warehouse Worker - Part Time

Duties

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and reach trucks
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment utilizing RF scanners and warehouse management systems (WMS)
• Stock shelves and organize inventory to optimize space and accessibility
• Operate heavy equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and mechanical tools safely following OSHA standards
• Manage inventory control through accurate tracking and documentation within AS400 or similar systems
• Assist with shipping & receiving processes, including loading and unloading trucks
• Support order fulfillment activities including order picking, packing, and labeling
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety guidelines and mechanical knowledge requirements
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors to improve workflow efficiency and inventory accuracy
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment like pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other heavy machinery as needed

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution, inventory management, or related roles with warehouse experience preferred
• Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, cranes, and pallet jacks safely in compliance with OSHA standards
• Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and materials handling tools
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400 or similar platforms for inventory control
• Strong organizational skills with experience in stock management, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual tasks regularly throughout the shift
• Previous experience in manufacturing or construction environments is a plus
• Excellent attention to detail for inventory accuracy and order fulfillment efficiency
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting

Pay: Up to $17.00 per hour
