What are the responsibilities and job description for the Optical Fiber Technician position at Infoserv LLC?
Inspect and clean fiber cables to meet data center quality standards, including end-face inspection.
Label cables on both ends using a flag labeler following customer-provided labeling schema.
Install pre-terminated fiber cables per Google-provided cabling matrix.
Utilize existing pathways and overhead ladder racks/trays for routing.
Secure, route and organize cables to maintain neat and serviceable cable management.
Work on inter- and intra-rack fiber cabling (no backbone installations).
Onsite Equipment / Tools Required
Fiber inspection probe (for end-face inspection)
Labeler capable of printing flag labels
Fiber cleaning kits and consumables
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $30.00 - $40.00 per hour
