Key Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders and established protocols.
- Prepare, position, and communicate with patients throughout imaging procedures.
- Operate radiologic, digital, and portable X-ray equipment safely and effectively.
- Obtain high-quality diagnostic images while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
- Verify patient identity, clinical information, and examination orders.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Follow radiation safety, infection-control, and departmental procedures.
- Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain equipment and report technical issues as required.
- Provide professional and compassionate patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program.
- ARRT certification/registration required.
- Active state Radiologic Technologist license required for the applicable location.
- Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a healthcare environment.
- Valid driver's license required for applicable mobile positions.
- CT experience/credentials may be required for applicable CT/X-Ray positions.
- Multi-modality experience preferred for applicable positions.
