Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist for travel assignments to join our dynamic healthcare team. Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process, ensuring patient comfort, and verifying safety protocols.
- Operate MRI equipment efficiently to capture high-resolution images necessary for accurate diagnosis.
- Perform specialized imaging procedures including CT scans, DEXA scans (dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry), and sonography when required.
- Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control standards to ensure patient safety.
- Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to evaluate images for clarity, quality, and diagnostic relevance.
- Assist in the preparation of patients for additional diagnostic evaluations such as physiology assessments or other imaging modalities.
- Ensure proper documentation of procedures, patient data, and technical details in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Maintain equipment functionality through routine checks and timely reporting of technical issues.
- Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques to enhance service quality.
- Support the healthcare team by providing clear explanations of procedures using medical terminology understandable to patients.
Requirements
- ARRT(MR) Licensure
- 1 year of experience
- Certification or licensure as an MRI Technologist from an accredited program; additional credentials in CT, DEXA scan, or sonography are advantageous.
- Proven experience operating MRI equipment in diverse clinical settings; travel experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging.
- Familiarity with medical imaging modalities including CT scans, DEXA scans, sonography, and related procedures.CA02
Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,010.00 per week
