Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled MRI Technologist for travel assignments to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this role, you will operate magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) equipment to produce detailed diagnostic images that assist physicians in diagnosing various medical conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of medical imaging techniques, anatomy, and physiology, ensuring high-quality imaging services across diverse clinical settings. Responsibilities

  • Prepare patients for MRI procedures by explaining the process, ensuring patient comfort, and verifying safety protocols.
  • Operate MRI equipment efficiently to capture high-resolution images necessary for accurate diagnosis.
  • Perform specialized imaging procedures including CT scans, DEXA scans (dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry), and sonography when required.
  • Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control standards to ensure patient safety.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and physicians to evaluate images for clarity, quality, and diagnostic relevance.
  • Assist in the preparation of patients for additional diagnostic evaluations such as physiology assessments or other imaging modalities.
  • Ensure proper documentation of procedures, patient data, and technical details in compliance with healthcare regulations.
  • Maintain equipment functionality through routine checks and timely reporting of technical issues.
  • Stay updated on advancements in medical imaging technology and techniques to enhance service quality.
  • Support the healthcare team by providing clear explanations of procedures using medical terminology understandable to patients.

Requirements

  • ARRT(MR) Licensure
  • 1 year of experience
  • Certification or licensure as an MRI Technologist from an accredited program; additional credentials in CT, DEXA scan, or sonography are advantageous.
  • Proven experience operating MRI equipment in diverse clinical settings; travel experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic imaging.
  • Familiarity with medical imaging modalities including CT scans, DEXA scans, sonography, and related procedures.CA02

Pay: $3,000.00 - $3,010.00 per week
