Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Registered Nurse specializing in Critical Care to join our dynamic healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in critical care nursing, demonstrating expertise in managing complex patient needs in high-pressure environments. This role requires a compassionate approach to patient care, along with the ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU or similar settings.
• Perform patient assessments, including vital signs monitoring and diagnostic evaluations.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Utilize advanced medical technologies and equipment, including ventilators and IV infusion systems.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Conduct triage assessments for incoming patients, prioritizing care based on acuity levels.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
• Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans, medications, and post-discharge care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards.

Job Details

• NIGHTS 7p-7a - 36 hrs/week (every other weekend).
• ASN Required Experience
• 2-5 years of ICU experience required
• Trauma level I Facility Experience is preferred
• Previous travel experience preferred
• EPIC experience required
• Will float as needed to ICU and PCU
• BLS and ACLS License
• Current MA RN License
• COVID Vaccines Booster required
• Flu vaccine required

Pay: $78.52 per hour

Expected hours: 36.0 per week
