Senior Functional Business Analyst

Information Technology Strategies, Inc. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Senior Functional Business Analyst to work for our company.

Summary: 

• Client Agency is the Customs & Border Protection.
• Will lead and manage the successful delivery of business analytics, system design and performance, and business process improvements to drive strategic business objectives. 
• Utilizes a knowledge base to create conceptual business models and to point out relevant issues and considerations in selecting application software packages, such as those provided by ERP vendors. 
• Assesses the operational and functional baseline of an organization and its organizational components and helps to define the direction and strategy for an engagement while ensuring the organizational needs are being addressed. 
• Leads the determination and classification of information technology inadequacies and/or deficiencies that affect the functional area’s ability to support/meet organizational goals. 
• Supports the development of functional area strategies for enhanced IT operations in a cross- functional area mode throughout the organization. 
• Provides work direction and guidance to other personnel; ensures accuracy of the work of other personnel; operates under deadlines; able to work on multiple tasks.

Requirements: 

• Must possess IT-II security clearance or have a current National Agency Check with Local Agency Check and Credit Check (NACLC). (Basic Federal Clearance requirements are U.S. Citizenship, clear criminal history check, no recent or pending bankruptcies).
• Must have Seven (7) years of experience in an IT related field.
• Bachelor’s degree Required.
• Must have strong communication skills.
