Position Summary
This position acts as the principal architectural bridge between a healthcare system’s clinical/financial executives and advanced data science engineering teams using various AI technologies. The core objective is turning unstructured organizational data, procedures and systems into an actionable, multi-year AI investment roadmap.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct structured interviews and collaborative workshops with customer personals to act as the forwarded deployed engineer (FDE).
- Map enterprise key performance indicators (KPIs) and isolate operational blockers where AI can optimize clinical outcomes.
- Assess operational departments for AI adoption readiness and cultural friction points.
- Formulate a prioritized AI Investment Opportunity Inventory, dividing projects into immediate quick-wins, deep discovery needs, and capital planning pipelines.
- Core ability to turn customer’s requirements into detailed functional specification and solution design.
- Help to architecture, design and implement various selected AI platforms and tools.
- Work with customers to manage day to day issues and resolutions.
Qualifications
- 5 years of progressive IT Business architecture experience within various health care systems or medical centers.
- Good healthcare industry experience and business process knowledge.
- Domain literacy in AI technologies, including machine learning lifecycles, structured vs. unstructured data, NLP, and LLM safety constraints.
- Deep understanding of IT implementation and operational knowledge.
- Advanced proficiency in Agile frameworks and workflow visualization tools (Visio, Lucid chart, and other tools).
- Good customer facing and communication skills.
