Responsibilities
The Architecture & Availability Area in the Enterprise Technology Department is seeking a Technology Director to lead the Enterprise Architecture product suite. In this pivotal role, you will align horizontal business strategies with technology capabilities by implementing streamlined architectural practices with a focus on IT Investment while driving innovation across Application, Data, and Infrastructure. Key areas of focus include Capability Stewardship, API Strategy and Enablement, Managed IT Investment, State Farm Technical Landscape and Well Architected Framework. Ideal candidates will have a proven track record of strategic cross functional collaboration to effectively influence change within the Enterprise Technology community and contribute to broader enterprise technical strategies; in-depth experience within Architecture Tools, Frameworks, and Models.
Qualifications
- Leads and achieves measurable results for complex product suite(s), meeting key performance indicators, delivering expected outcomes, and driving significant customer and business value
- Experience with Architecture Tools, Frameworks, and Models.
- Delivers and supports well-designed, secure, and resilient solutions to support customer and business needs
- Applies a deep understanding of the architecture, business, and technology ecosystem and evaluates the latest industry direction to effectively communicate aspirational opportunities to senior leadership
- Influences and contributes to the creation of data-driven business cases to ensure the value and effective delivery of expected results
- Develops and executes a product management strategy to drive innovation and growth within the organization's technology products and services
- Ensures the creation of customer-centric roadmaps that incorporate architecture, technology, business, risk and compliance, and enterprise strategies
- Partners with other business and technology leaders to make sound architecture and technology decisions and achieve shared department outcomes
- Models continuous personal development of leadership, business, technical, product, architecture, and financial acumen by acquiring and applying new skills
- Fosters an environment that enables innovation aligned with company goals and objectives
