ISN is seeking a Vendor Specialist to join our team Full-Time!
Vendor Specialists will be responsible for assisting the Vendor Manager with regards to single family homes (1-4 units), Real Estate Owned (REO) and custodial properties. Vendor Specialists must ensure that vendors are qualified and able to conduct and submit inspections and other property-related work on time, to client specifications, and efficiently. Vendor Specialist's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Research and recruit new property inspectors, property preservation vendors, appraisal/valuation vendors, title vendors, environmental companies, real estate agents, attorneys, etc. as needed in their respective geographic areas to accomplish required services
-Ensure highest quality vendors/attorneys are being selected for work assignment, based on previous work quality and scorecards
-Ensure all properties have the vendors required for surge, seasonal services, or weather disasters
-Acts as a centralized point of contact for all vendors and attorneys
-Handle escalations from vendors and attorneys and provide resolution
-Monitor vendor/attorney performance; ensuring all guidelines, timelines, and expectations are being followed accordingly
-Perform data analysis of vendor/attorney's work product to develop scorecards
·Interact with vendors/attorneys with regards to client updates, local law enforcement communication, HOA and city/county code compliance personnel
-Vette vendor bids for necessary repairs and services to properties to ensure job will be done properly to client specs at a fair price
-Coordinate on behalf of the vendor with our accounting department to ensure vendor invoicing is processed in a timely manner
Experience:
-Excellent communication skills, including excellent phone etiquette and a demonstrated ability to communicate professionally in verbal and written forms and instant messaging environment with teammates
-Above average computer skills working in proprietary software environment.
-Ability to meet hard deadlines and work in fast-paced environment. ·
-Keen as to where and how to locate small vendors for rural properties
Qualifications
Must pass pre-employment screening and undergo a government suitability investigation.
3 years of vendor management / recruitment experience in a similar work environment (government contractor) or real estate industry.
