Full-Time | On-site in Oneonta, NY (Hybrid available after training)
Pay: $40,000 – $90,000 per year (based on experience & skill level)
Information Systems Division (ISD) has supported businesses in Oneonta for over 30 years, and we are growing. We are hiring Tier I, Tier II, and Tier III IT Support Technicians to join our team. Whether you are early in your career or a senior engineer, we want to hear from you.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities vary by level, and we will match candidates to the right tier.
Tier I (Helpdesk / Entry Level)
- Provide phone, email, and remote support to end users
- Resolve basic issues with Windows, Office 365, printers, and workstations
- Document tickets and escalate when needed
Tier II (Intermediate Support)
- Troubleshoot servers, networks, firewalls, and cloud applications
- Handle escalations from Tier I
- Perform onsite visits, workstation/server deployments, and project work
Tier III (Senior Engineer)
- Lead complex troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- Manage server environments, virtualization, networking, and security
- Oversee project implementations and mentor junior staff
Qualifications
Tier I
- 0–2 years IT support experience
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Basic understanding of Windows and Office 365
Tier II
- 2–5 years in an MSP or IT support role
- Working knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, networking, cloud apps
- Ability to handle escalations
Tier III
- 5–10 years MSP experience required
- Advanced skills in servers, firewalls, virtualization, cloud systems
- Certifications preferred (CompTIA, Microsoft, VMware, etc.)
