Role: Windows Systems Administrator- Local candidates only
Location: Madison, WI
Duration: One Year Contract with possibility of extensions
Position Summary:
The Systems Engineer will play a key role in the design, planning, execution, and installation of
the current infrastructure to support new applications and technologies. Support software and
hardware upgrades and maintenance of Windows servers, operating systems, infrastructure
systems, and applications. Must have extensive experience with standard industry practices
including management of Windows Server systems. The Systems Engineer relies on experience
and judgment to plan and accomplish goals, independently performs a variety of complicated
tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. The Systems Engineer must be
highly self-motivated with the ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with strong
attention to detail
Top Required Skills & Years of Experience (8 or more years of experience):
- Server and system administration technologies such as Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft SQL Server, VMWare, and Windows Server Update Services (WSUS)
Preferred Skills:
- PowerShell
- ITIL certification
- Experience supporting M365 and SharePoint
- Administration of Microsoft Internet Information Services (IIS)
- Administration of Microsoft .NET web applications
