What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cannabis Concentrate Packager position at Information Entropy?
Information Entropy is looking for a Cannabis Concentrate Packager to join our processing team. The ideal candidate is a cannabis concentrates enthusiast who has a strong understanding of solventless products. Previous experience working in a manufacturing or lab environment is preferred.
Ideal Candidate:
- Good attention to detail, hard working, basic mathematics skills, and ability to arrive at work in a timely fashion.
Responsibilities:
- Packaging concentrates in different forms. Stickering packaging with compliance labels.
- Ensuring quality of packaged product for clients and customers.
- Assist the washing team and solvent extraction team as needed.
- Assist in cleaning all work areas including but not limited to wash room, press room, sink room, and other areas used by the rosin team within the facility.
- Wear proper PPE and follow general lab safety guidelines.
- Adhere to all applicable laws and regulations as designated by the city, state, and Cannabis Regulatory Agency.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a packaging technician preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division)
- Must be able to work well with others as a team member and be self-motivated and goal oriented
- Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds if needed during the work day.
