CIO Dive is looking for a sharp reporter ready to delivertimely, insightful coverage ofthe IT industry.In this role,you'lldive into the fast-pacedworld ofbusinesstechnology and strategy,writing breaking news briefs, in-depth articles, and features to help techexecutives cut through thegrowingnoise.

You'llcollaborate closely with a team of journaliststo develop engaging coverage, whetherit'sa quick-turn earnings analysis or a deep dive intoa new technologytrend.

This is your beat toown.You'llpitch original story ideas,build strong industryconnectionsand chase down stories that matter the most.Reporting directly to CIO Dive's editorial director,you'llhave anopportunity to shape coverage and have an impact.

Whatyou'lldo:

• Develop source relationships with organizations and analysts relevant to your beat
• Pitch story ideas and work with editors to refine angles
• Write an average of 5 items per week, of varying length and depth
• Identifyand support team coverage of key storylines
• Produce daily and weekly newsletters alongside your team - reporting,writingand editing every day in a collaborative fashion
• Work as a team player to supportCIODive's ambitious goals

• 2-4 years of experience inEnterprise IT coverage or translatable business reporting experience preferred.
• A proventrack recordof strong journalism businessreporting and writing skills
• Ability to interpret and analyze business concepts, earnings reports, industry trends, and major news stories and to connect the dots to highlight larger trends
• Ability to build relationships with important sources and report on complex subjects
• Experience interpreting and analyzing business and financial news,trendsand concepts
• Deadline-oriented time management skills; ability to turn around stories on tight deadlines
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced news environment - reporters mightneed to quickly pivot to cover emerging news
• Bachelor's degree or better in journalism,Englishor similar field

The salary range for the role is $70,000 to $75,000, depending on experience.
