Infor are recruiting a strategic and operationally strong Vice President Global Incentive Compensation to lead the design, governance, and execution of our global variable compensation programs. This role will partner cross-functionally with Sales, HR, Finance, Sales Operations & IT to ensure our incentive structures drive performance, align with business goals, and scale with our global footprint.
The VP will operate in a consultative capacity, partnering with the business to identify sales compensation related challenges. This role is directly accountable for the design and communication of sales compensation programs that attract the right talent, motivate the right behaviors and retain the right talent.
A Day in the Life Typically Includes:-
- Leading the global sales compensation strategy, design, and administration of all incentive compensation programs across sales, services, and customer success teams
- Partnering with executive leadership to align compensation plans with corporate objectives and go-to-market strategies
- Manage the global incentive compensation team, ensuring operational excellence in plan modelling, quota setting, and commission processing.
- Driving automation and system enhancements in collaboration with IT to improve scalability and transparency.
- Managing governance, compliance, and audit readiness for all incentive-related processes.
- Delivering executive-level reporting and insights on compensation effectiveness, attainment trends, and ROI. These may include market pay benchmarking, executive and field level feedback interviews, quantitative analysis, and qualitative analysis, as well as actionable recommendations with sales/cost implications, modelled compensation impacts, and an implementation plan.
- Leading annual plan design cycles, including stakeholder alignment, plan documentation, and communication strategy to determine health of compensation programs.
Basic Qualifications:-
- Experience in incentive / sales compensation / sales force effectiveness / sales operations in a global leadership role, ideally in the SaaS / enterprise software business.
- Experience designing and managing complex, multi-region incentive plans.
- Experience with ICM platforms (e.g., Xactly, Varicent, Callidus), having considerable analytical and modelling experience.
- Experience influencing at all levels of the organization, driving transformation and change.
- Change management expertise in scaling compensation programs during periods of growth or transformation
- Experience navigating matrixed environments and driving cross-functional alignment.
