The Principal Software/Hardware Supply Chain Manager provides strategic leadership in vetting and managing Infor's software and hardware supply chain, ensuring vendor compliance and resilience. This role also serves as the senior point of contact for customer queries regarding the security and compliance of Infor's supply chain on an offering-by-offering basis. Secondarily, the role project manages Infor's Source Code Program, ensuring source code is only provided under proper terms and conditions and that all usage complies with the Source Code License Agreement.
A Day in the Life Typically Includes:
- Lead strategic vetting, approval, and management of thirdparty vendors supporting Infor's software and hardware supply chain
- Respond to customer queries with clear, timely, and accurate information on supply chain security and compliance
- Oversee negotiation and compliance of source code agreements to safeguard intellectual property and business interests
- Project manage Infor's Source Code Program, ensuring source code is only provided under proper terms and conditions
- Monitor compliance with the Source Code License Agreement and enforce source code usage terms
- Collaborate with executive stakeholders, legal, IT, and engineering teams to align vendor and source code strategies with business goals
- Track vendor deliverables, KPIs, and compliance metrics, reporting results to senior leadership
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience in software/hardware procurement and supply chain management
- Experience in global ERP supply chain operations and multijurisdictional vendor management
- Experience vetting and managing thirdparty vendors in ERP environments
- Knowledge of supply chain security, compliance frameworks, and customer engagement practices
- Experience with contract negotiation, vendor governance, and risk management
- Experience responding to customer queries on compliance and security
- Experience managing source code programs and enforcing license agreements
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or visa sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, IT, or related field
- Experience working with intellectual property law, source code licensing frameworks, and compliance enforcement
- Experience working to improve vendor performance, risk mitigation, and customer satisfaction
