The Data Services Project Manager coordinates and monitors technical projects in collaboration with the Implementation Project Manager. Acting as a critical member of the technical team, this role focuses on product creation, enhancement, or integration projects for clients. The Project Manager ensures that projects meet targets, adhere to requirements, and maintain profitability while serving as the primary liaison between the company and clients.
A Day in the Life Typically Includes:
- Ensure projects are completed within agreed-upon timelines and budgets.
- Maintain project profitability through effective resource scheduling, revenue forecasting, billing reconciliation, and approval of expenses and time reports.
- Risk Management & Problem Solving.
- Identify potential issues and proactively mitigate risks.
- Monitor deliverables and ensure smooth communication across project teams and stakeholders.
- Prepare detailed status reports on project progress.
Basic Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud ERP software implementation and consulting.
- Experienced in managing full project lifecycles and delivering technical solutions.
- Experience in data conversion.
- Experienced in translating business requirements into actionable technical specifications.
- Experience with project methodologies such as Agile, Waterfall, or tools like Azure DevOps (ADO).
- Experience in leading complex multi-location, multi-system implementations, including integration with ERP, WMS, TMS, EDI, or other supply chain systems.
- Willingness to travel throughout North America (US and Canada) 50% or more.
- Legal authorization to work permanently in the United States for any employer without requiring a visa transfer or sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications:
- ERP experience with Infor software products, LN or M3 preferred.
- PMP certification (preferred but not required).
- Experience with team management tools such as Jira.
- Industry experience in Food & Beverage, Manufacturing, Fashion, and/or Automotive.
