Infor IQ is a new component of Infor Data Fabric. It builds an ontology over Infor’s CloudSuite ERP products — the entities, relationships, actions, business rules, and policies that describe how core business objects behave — so that people and AI agents can query it, reason over it, and act on it with results that are explainable and auditable.

This role decides what that ontology should say. You will translate ERP business processes into precise, testable requirements, validate that the resulting model reflects how the business actually works, prototype proposed experiences to remove design risk early, and track the competitive landscape. You will work closely with product management, engineering, UX, and domain experts.

·       Translate ERP business processes, including order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, plan-to-produce, and related industry variants, into ontology requirements that define entities, relationships, permitted actions, rules, and policies.

·       Write structured, testable specifications for technical design and implementation, including end-to-end use cases, acceptance criteria, traceability, and documented decisions.

·       Build working prototypes with AI tooling to support UX design, gather stakeholder feedback, and reduce design risk before engineering investment.

·       Conduct competitive and market analysis across semantic layer, knowledge graph, and metadata catalog solutions, and translate findings into roadmap input.

·       Validate ontology outputs by reviewing schema-to-ontology mappings, data dictionaries, enumerations, and relationships against source data and documented ERP behavior.

·       Partner with application development and content development teams to create ontology content for enterprise applications, including domain models, vocabularies, and rule sets.

·       Facilitate workshops with domain experts, demonstrate working software, prepare written briefings for executive and engineering audiences, and support backlog grooming with product management and engineering.

·       Experience as a business analyst, product analyst, functional consultant, or product owner supporting enterprise software, ERP, or enterprise data platforms.

·       Experience writing specifications, use cases, acceptance criteria, and documentation that support engineering design and implementation.

·       Functional knowledge of at least one ERP domain, including documents, statuses, workflows, and business process behavior.

·       Data modeling knowledge, including conceptual, logical, and physical models; keys; cardinality; normalization; schema review; and SQL.

·       Experience building domain-model or ontology content for enterprise applications.

·       Experience with business process automation, including governance, approvals, escalations, observability, and human-in-the-loop controls.

·       Knowledge graph or semantic web experience, such as RDF, OWL, SPARQL, SHACL, or formal conceptual modeling.

·       Background in analytics, business intelligence, data catalog, master data management, or data governance.

·       Experience with analytical models, KPIs, reports, dashboards, or related data products.

·       Multi-tenant SaaS product experience.

·       Experience with Palantir Foundry, Microsoft Fabric IQ, or similar ontology and process automation products.

·       Experience with data lake, lakehouse, or data transformation tooling such as dbt.

·       Experience working in issue-tracking and collaborative documentation tools.
