What are the responsibilities and job description for the ABAP Programmer/Analyst position at InfoQuest Consulting Group Inc.?
Duration & Type: 6 months Contract – renewable up to 24 months
Location: White Plains, New York
Please Note: This is a W-2 only position.
Required:
- Eight (8) or more years ABAP experience required.
- Strong ABAP development skills across various different SAP modules. Must have worked on all aspects of ABAP(RICEFW).
- Good Experience with SAP MM and FI module is required.
- Expertise in SAP Materials Management (MM) modules tables, transports, transaction codes, SAP ABAP Query and Reports required.
- Good understanding of MM configuration and functionality.
- Knowledge of Procurement Processes and Procedures and SAP Functionality related to Procurement Processes
- Good Experience with Web dynpro and Portal is preferred.
- Fiori (for MM functions) experience is a plus.
- Education: Four (4) year degree required, Advance degree is preferred.
- Strong communication skills and customer service support, as well as organizational skills, required.
- Excellent writing skills required.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with functional owners, architects and other personnel to develop dynamic and flexible systems to meet the emerging demands of the market.
- Maintain and update existing program codes as needed.
- Develop technical specification and estimations for assigned project.
- Work in compliance with the programming and documentation standards.
- Ensure project completion within the allotted timelines and budget.
- Troubleshoot production problems in a timely manner.
- Review program codes and correct ABAP program errors.
- Assist in unit testing of ABAP programs.
- Conduct defect analysis and perform necessary fixes and enhancements.
- Provide high quality customer support throughout the project.
