Job Description

• This Information Technology Software Developer III (.NET and AI Support) will act as a technical specialist responsible for the development, administration and production support for enterprise business applications and mobile apps. This role requires expertise in modern software development frameworks, cloud technologies and artificial intelligence development and integration.
• This position requires strong skill sets include Microsoft ASP.Net framework, microservice architecture, Artificial Intelligence (AI), C#, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI Service/Report Builder, Power Automate), Node, Microsoft Azure development/administration, Oracle and SQL relational database programming.
• In addition, this position requires strong knowledge and experience in AI development and integration with existing business applications using prompt engineering and AI agents in application development with Azure OpenAI and Copilot.

Key responsibilities

• Application Development and Support
• Design, develop, deploy and maintain business applications using Microsoft ASP.Net framework, microservice architecture, C#, Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI Service/Report Builder, Power Automate), Node, and Microsoft Azure development.
• Develop and maintain web service APIs using .Net framework.

AI Integration and Prompt Engineering

• Develop and implement AI driven solution using prompt engineering and AI agent (i.e. Azure OpenAI and Copilot).
• Integrate AI capabilities into existing business applications to enhance automation and efficiency.

Power Platform Administration

• Administer Microsoft Power BI and Power Platform tools (Power App, Power Automate).

Database and Reporting

• Design and publish reports using Microsoft Power BI, Oracle database and Microsoft Azure SQL server databases.
• Develop and maintain Oracle and Microsoft SQL database views, stored procedure/PLSQL, packages, function, and SQL queries.

Preferred Experience

• Hands on experience in AI development and integration in business applications.
• Experience with AI agent and prompt engineering.

Job Duties

• Develop and maintain business applications such as Water Invoicing System and Water Ordering Scheduling System.
• Design, develop, deploy and support business application with ASP.net, microservices architecture, C# and Power Apps
• Design and develop web service APIs to support business need.
• Design and develop Artificial Intelligence solutions to integrate with existing business applications, using AI prompt engineering and AI agent such as Azure OpenAI and CoPilot.
• Design and develop hybrid or native mobile app development Administer Microsoft Power BI, Azure Platform Services, and Power Apps.
• Defines, designs, develops, and deploys new or modified reports using software such as Power BI, Oracle and Microsoft SQL database.
• Defines, designs, develops, and deploys new or modified Oracle and Microsoft Azure SQL database views, packages, stored procedures, or functions.

Special Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of experience in ASP.net, Power Platform (Power App, Power BI, Power Automate), AI development/integration, Azure PaaS environment, and Oracle/SQL relational database programming.
• Prefer knowledge and hand on experience in AI development, AI agent, prompt engineering and integration in business applications.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $50.00 - $54.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
